Today is a stellar day in YoVille. Four new collectibles have been released, a Cukoo Clock that really cukoos, a Steaming Wine Tub, a Pink Purse and a Lap Top Bag!
Additionally, you now earn points for completing every day actions. Points will level you up to earn new actions, new rooms and new items!
Our new staff member, Lin Shan, is up when we are all sleeping and we are now able to bring stuff to you as it happens! So, when you get to work, remember to sneak onto the forum and see What's New In YoVille.

We've heard and responded to your complaints ...
As you know, there has been a lot of concern over recent activity in YoVille by some of our members and staff. Specifically, Adminsistration has received a lot of complaints regarding hacking, scamming and flaming. Some of these I have been able to verify on my own and some I can't, not having been there.
As you also know, all three of these are a violation of the YoVille Buzz rules. Two of the biggest compliments that we receive form members are that we are friendly and that they feel like the site is run by honest players. To that end, we simply cannot have staff who engage in these activities. Our team puts too much time, effort and love into what we do on the site, to risk allowing it to die a slow and painful death as our members slowly leave to find other sites who are more reputable and better fit their needs.
At this point we have made the difficult decision to remove these staff from our roster. As long as there is no further tangible evidence that they will be detrimental to the site, we welcomed them to remain members of our community, as we value their friendship and contributions.
Please understand that they were issued an official warning, and should we continue to receive complaints, we may find it necessary to ban them, as all of the aforementioned are violations for which that action is valid.
We hope that they understand our position and will continue as YoVille Buzz members and that you are also comfortable with the action taken. Either way, we feel confident that we made the right decision possible under the circumstances.
All members are welcome to discuss their feelings on the issue on the forum, in a responsible manner, remembering to keep names and accusations out of your posts. If you feel the need to point a finger or provide information you feel we may not have, please do so privately.

New Features ...
Yovillebuzz is proud to announce the addition of a spanish speaking forum. With Rubylicious as it's hostess, we expect it to be a delicious addition to the site.
We, also have a new events coordinator and photographer. Look for Destiny to plan lots of exciting events, where forum members will be able to meet and buddy up.
Finally, we have an "Ask our Yoconomist" section on the forum. Here Prophet and Rolltide will answer your most burning questions concerning investments, collectibles and the general state of the Yoconomy.

Apologies ...
Good Morning Members -
What an exciting morning, eh?
It has come to my attention that some of the yovillebuzz.com staff that became disgruntled and no longer wish to work on the site may have sent messages to all of the members with some information that may or may not be completely accurate. Working on a site like this can be very demanding and is not always fun. I am very sorry that Rukia and Money were upset with the workload, if only they had talked to me, we could have worked something out. Right now, all that was asked of them was to submit some content every two weeks and to moderate the forum when they were online, so I didn't realize this was a problem. The other things they did were highly appreciated, but if they had simply said they could no longer provide that, I would have understood and never asked them to continue.
I am very sorry to have lost them, as they were more than staff on the site, but my very closest Yoville friends as well, and I am NOT going to ban them unless they break forum rules or become too destructive to the health of the site because I want to let them know they they are still welcome here and are still friends mine, Bitsi's and all of YoVille Buzz.

Volunteer Opportunities ...
Please read carefully, especially this next part. We have three opportunities for Yovillians who would like to work with us. These are NOT moderator openings.
First: Due to user demand, we need a person who is available to plan and host events and activities for members. We need someone who is available most of the time for random events and can commit to a weekly event that will be held on a regular basis. Again, please pm me with your availability and a sample of ideas that you may have.
Second: We have one position availble on the forum. This is a reporter position and will require some one who is able to find yoville news and information and keep the forum updated. The best candidate will be very Yoville saavy and able to access the web and game on a fairly regular basis through out the day. You will also use your special knowledge to respond to member posts, especially in Yobuzz and Help. This position may eventually lead to a spot on the web team. pm me your qualifications.
Third: We'd love to be able to offer a forum help section in Spanish. Since all I can say is "Toca La Guitarra" or "play the guitar," I don't think that I'll be much help. If you are fluent in Spanish and feel you can address help questions (with the help of other staff) and would like to moderate a Spanish section, please send me a pm.

Official Apology ...
Well, my fellow Yovillians, as some of you may already know, I woke up to find what must be the most amazing collection of pornography ever, posted all over our lovely forum.
For those of you who do know, my apologies (or not whichever the case may be, LOL). I believe I have deleted all of the topics and the count them 4, yes 4, users responsible have been deleted and banned in every way that is possible to me.
Please understand that it is the number one priority of this forum's adminsitration to keep it clean and safe for everyone. If you refer to the rules, you will see that since day one I have made it clear that pornography is clearly against the rules. Unfortunately, I need to sleep and work and have a few other real life obligations and interests that keep me from being logged on to the forum 24x7. The offense occured sometime during the night and was deleted at 6:00 am this morning.
I think for the size of our forum, that that the amount of moderators is sufficient. If this becomes a consistent problem, I may look to members from other time zones for help. I am also in contact with our host, to see if there are ways to block this before it happens rather than after the fact.
Finally, even though all of these people took the time to register, I think it is in the best interest of the community, to close the forums back up to non-registered members. Hopefully, this will make it more trouble than it is worth for most of the spammers.

Yoville Buzz Announces New Contest
Load up you inventory and hire a designer, because We have a BRAND NEW contest for you!
The Living Room Designer's Challenge is on and we expect the competition to be sizzling.
From the forum link, PM me a picture of your living room by April 3rd. Once the entry deadline hits, I'll get them posted to the site with a poll listing all the entrants. Forum members will be able to vote for their favorites and you will be able to track results in REAL TIME!!
Voting will end on 4/10 and on 4/13 we'll have a party (time tba) and award prizes!
